Pooled Fund

The Pooled Fund is intended to implement special projects for the upliftment of the Scheduled Castes through Government Departments, Institutions, Agencies and Non-Government Organizations. The Departments/Institutions/Agencies/NGOs requiring funds from the Pooled Fund shall submit their projects for the development of the Scheduled Castes, including their share of financial assistance, for the consideration of the State Planning Board. If the project is feasible and eligible for approval, the State Planning Board shall submit it to the Scheduled Caste Development Department. The said projects shall be submitted for consideration and approval of the State Level/Special Working Group. The existing guidelines shall be strictly followed for the preparation, sanctioning and implementation of the projects. High priority shall be given to livelihood activities. The progress of the implementation of various projects sanctioned under this scheme shall be assessed by the District Level Committee for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes.
